Price Protection Plans

Energy prices are volatile and unpredictable! Tuxis Ohr’s offers several options to protect you from uncertainty in the oil market. Whether you lock in a fixed price or choose our updated CAP Budget Program, you’ll know your energy costs for the year — and could even pay less. (See the details of the CAP Program.)

*All contract oil is purchased or stored in accordance with CT State Law.

General Terms & Conditions

1. Labor is covered only for the repair and replacement of listed parts.
2. All payments must be current.
3. Exclusions: This agreement does not cover parts or labor when failure is due to:
   • Failure to maintain proper boiler water level or pressure
   • Emergency switch left in the “off” position
   • Thermostat set too low to call for heat
   • Air in baseboard/radiators (except with Total Comfort Plan)
   • Parts/controls on coal or wood burning systems
   • Piping not related to the heating system
4. Obsolete parts are not covered.
5. All fuel oil must be purchased from Tuxis Ohr’s (automatic delivery required).
6. Only damage from normal wear and tear is covered (excludes acts of God, fire, etc.).
7. No liability for work done by others unless authorized in writing by Tuxis Ohr’s.
8. Agreement length: one year, auto-renews in July unless cancelled in writing 30 days prior.
9. Automatic delivery is required for all plans.
10. Contracts must be paid in full before coverage begins.

Service Hours

During this agreement, Tuxis Ohr’s provides dependable emergency service 24/7, 365 days a year. Emergencies include: No heat, no hot water, or fuel leaks.

All scheduled service is performed during normal business hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Value Plan

The Value Plan includes a full annual tune-up plus coverage for the following parts:

Total Comfort Plan

Includes everything in the Value Plan plus major additional parts and services.
Price includes 1 zone; add $45 for each additional zone.

Additional services include: repairing heating system water leaks at/around boiler, venting baseboards/radiators, adjusting boiler pressure or water level, and coverage for direct/indirect water heaters (tank excluded).

Note: All covered parts are for residential systems only.

Oil-Fired Water Heater Coverage

$109 + tax
(Available only with a heating system plan)

• Covers burner parts, aquastat, controls, emergency switch
• Includes burner tune-up (performed with system tune-up)
• Excludes storage tank, relief and water valves

Safe & Secure

• Annual cleaning and complete inspection of boiler/furnace
• Year-round emergency service
• Includes Value Plan parts
• Service labor at prevailing rate
